we have 9 nhl channels...chris is almost in heaven...we have them only for a preview so guess what chris is ordering tomorrow? nj won and dallas is in the lead and only ONE MINUTE, ONE MINUTE left...i miss that announcer already....

getting ready for new lost...
think of kate and hoping she isnt too sad...i feel her pain...
chris is cooking burgers for dinner...yummm
chris got a job today...yay!!! he starts on sunday (boo!)
its sweater weather here and the leaves are changing colors!!!!
i know this update isnt of real substance but not much else is going on...i promise a decent update when we get our first electric bill...unless of course, we cant afford to get on the computer... ;)

we are in minnesota!!! we got here on tuesday and as of last night, have everything we need for the apt...as soon as my sister sends me the pics (i sent the digi back to her) i will upload those pics...i just loaded pics from our last few days in texas (including one of me and jason arnott...drool...) there isnt really much to update on...chris' parents drove the truck with all of our stuff...we slept overnight in des moines...his parents flew back to tx on friday...the weather is gorgeous here and our apt is way cool...in texas we had apts that had open (outdoor) hallways but no way sir, not in mn...it feels like a dorm almost and considering most of the residents are students, its fitting...tomorrow i start the job search..thats all for now...

we leave aug 31...hopefully arrive in mn on the 1st...

the sad news...
sunday july 24
a co-worker of mine, cs got into a horrid car accident and died at 3:54 pm
her funeral was yesterday and it was lovely, her daughter spoke and so did 2 drs
my boss was best friends with her and i think she is still in shock about it all...
everyone keeps asking me how my boss is taking it and thinks she is very fragile right now but i know better...i have known her for almost 10 years now after all....and she is one of my best friends...
its been an extremely long week...

riley got spayed today and this is the quietest i have seen her...she looked even more freakin cute than usual with a cone on her head...forgot to get pictures before i took it off her...i am sure it will have to go back on but for the moment, she couldnt sit/lay with it on b/c it was so big! only 4 more days until we leave for galveston!!!! after the cruise i will look feverishly for a job in minnesota...any help/advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

wow i am updating on monday!!! (slowly getting better!!)
friday night i loaded up a bunch of goodies (snacks, water, fleece sweater, dog food) and headed with riley in tow to participate in relay for life...i walked a little over 3 miles-riley walked one and i carried her the rest of the time (what a spoiled pup she is!!) and i had such fun...my sister and iv eventually showed up and took riley with them so i had about 2 hours without her to hang out with some hilarious co-workers....good times!
saturday took riley to get her puppy shot and then i waited tables...after work, i met chris at his aunts house for a mini family reunion and had riley with me...didnt stay too long there and left to see vs and munchkin since it feels like its been ages since we've seen each other...munchkin loved riley and riley was out of it (i think her shot was ruining her mood) i didnt really get to chat with vs alone b/c her neighbor was there the whole time but oh well...bs made a wonderful steak dinner for all of us and then we left...
yesterday chris and i (no riley) went to the ft worth art fair and bought so many great things!!! i love that fair!!! i got this and another cute fish one by seung lee and a vase w/ flowers by terrell powell (no websites for either of them yet) we also got birthday presents from here. (chris' mom got 'morning watch' and his brother got 'lonesome cry') there was so much neat stuff there, if i was made of money, i wouldve got one of each!!! we had a great grilled steak sandwich for lunch and funnel cake afterwards *yummm!!! we were so tired that we had to take naps and then we had carrabba's for dinner *yummm* and thats pretty much my weekend... ;)

friday night i am doing relay for life, all proceeds go to the american cancer society and ls, there is a luminiara i am getting with your name all over it.... :) find out more...

i have spent the majority of the week with riley and itching to death...her skin is really dry from eating the wrong kind of dog food and its making me have an insane reaction to her..suckin' it....but i did get her a really cute collar with rhinestones...must take and post pics this weekend...hopefully today after work i can get some baking done...
and for what its worth, happy april fool's!!!
